  1. Industry-University Collaboration Foundation

George Mason University Korea Industry-University Collaboration Foundation (the "IUCF") was incorporated on December 20, 2021 under the Industrial Education Enhancement and Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Promotion Act. The IUCF aims to contribute to the development of science and technology and to promote cooperation between private industry and George Mason University. Universities serve to cultivate character and advance profound academic theories and their practical applications, which are essential to the development of the nation and global society. Aligning closely with the mission of the universities, the core functions of Industry-university-research collaboration are defined as 1) workforce development, 2) research and commercialization, 3) technology transfer and industrial consulting, and 4) the shared use of tangible and intangible resources. To fulfill these functions, universities establish and operate IUCF as dedicated entities to manage and promote such collaborative activities.
